People often come to therapy after they have have been trying to address challenges on their own for some time. Because we can be so focused on solving our problems, we often overlook the strengths and skills that we are already using. I believe that the therapeutic relationship must be built on transparency, trust, and open communication. This allows to work together to make sure therapy is moving in a direction that is benefiting you. Even though therapy may at times make us feel uncomfortable, it should never make us feel unsafe.
I believe that everyone is worthy of respect regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, affectional orientation, age, or physical ability. Regardless of similarities or differences we have, I will do my best to ensure that your experiences and beliefs are valued and respected. I tend to have a casual and personable approach to therapy, and believe that you are the expert on your life. My goal is to use my knowledge with your expertise to collaboratively reach your goals.
Monday and Friday hours are every other week.
