“We all have many moments where need to sit with someone safe, objective, and curious while we move through some messy parts, or good parts… or messy good parts of life. While working together we will build a space where we identify your strengths and goals, challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, and build up the snazzy things that make you, well… you. Each step along the way we will honor the fact you are the expert of your life. Clients often find my style personable, honest, relaxed, realistic and offbeat in an endearing way. I am always honored when people allow me to sit with them and assist with their work.
My background includes work with children, complex trauma/PTSD, anxiety, anger, LGBTQIA+, gender exploring/transgender youth, grief/loss, and the buffet of life experiences we all come up against. I use a mix of evidence-based therapeutic styles and techniques such as CBT, EMDR or Internal Family Systems that are tailored to each person’s unique situation. Humor, authenticity, and art heavily guide my work. We are all going through something – whether it’s loss, figuring out who we are, what we’d rather be or just finding where the ground is. Together we’ll help you work through life’s moments, and pave a path toward the place you would like to be.”
