Transgender Program
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Pride Center of Vermont’s Transgender Program facilitates community and connection among transgender, nonbinary, intersex, and gender non-conforming Vermonters to celebrate our diverse identities and expressions. We increase visibility and foster respect for and with transgender, intersex, and gender non-conforming communities by promoting awareness, creating support networks, encouraging opportunities for creative expression and inquiry of gender issues, and cultivating a welcoming community for all.

As the trans community action planning committee, Transpire meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 6pm. Come join trans folks and our allies in planning events for the community and supporting actions regarding the transgender, intersex, and GNC community.
During the pandemic, Transpire has paused and is hosting a monthly Trans Social Hour on the 4th Monday of the month from 6-7pm. Please email trans@pridecentervt.org to connect with the Social Hour or with any questions.
Trans & GNC Vermonters at all stages of their gender journey come together to socialize, discuss issues that are coming up in their lives, and build community. Meets virtually on the first and third Wednesdays of the month 6:30-8pm. Email trans@pridecentervt.org for the meeting link, or with any questions, comments, or accessibility concerns.

This group started up to meet the needs of trans people in Central Vermont. They meet to play games, do arts and crafts and have good conversations with each other. Meets at the Christ Episcopal Church in Montpelier on the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm.
Formerly, Partners of Trans People, Pride Partners is a group for partners of trans & GNC people who would like support regarding their partner’s transition, the challenges that come up for both partners, and how best to be there for their trans partner.
The group meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 6:30-8pm. Currently meeting virtually; email trans@pridecentervt.org for the meeting link.
As our name suggests, we are people with adult loved ones who are transgender or gender-nonconforming. We meet on the second Thursday of each month to support each other and to learn more about issues and concerns that our loved ones face. Our meetings are caring, informal, and confidential.
Not sure if you’re ready for a meeting? We also offer one-on-one support. For more information on the group or one-on-one support email rex@pridecentervt.org or call 802-238-3801
