LifePLUS

What is LifePLUS?

LifePLUS is a confidential online forum for men ages 18-40 who are living with HIV in Vermont. Launched in February 2019, we have a mission to fight stigma, create community, and find support in one another as we navigate full lives after being diagnosed with HIV.

What happens in LifePLUS?

Conversations, laughs, memes, meetups… think of this as a poz social group! We also have space for questions around HIV treatment, doctors, stigma, and more. By sticking together, we can find support and strength in one another.

Is LifePLUS for me?

If you identify as male, are between the ages of 18-40, and have been diagnosed with HIV, then this is an option for you! You also will need access to a smartphone or desktop computer with internet access. Currently, HIV-negative partners are not allowed in this group.

How do I join?

Your confidentiality is extremely important to us. The first step in joining our group is to either meet up with or have a phone conversation with Johnny Chagnon, the LifePLUS Coordinator. He can be reached at Johnny@pridecentervt.org and (802)860-7812. After your intake, Johnny will provide instructions for access to the LifePLUS group and assist you if you would like a confidential alias.
