Pride Center of Vermont maintains the below list of for the purpose of helping to increase awareness of and access to resources for the LGBTQ+ community at large. This list is a crowd-sourced, living document. If you have any questions specific to resources, please contact the resources directly.

Good Neighbor Program, Chittenden Humane Society  – In partnership with homeless, domestic violence, and other local human service organizations. Designed to provide temporary shelter, free of charge, for beloved pets during times of crisis and transition in the lives of their owners, the program includes veterinary care, absolute confidentiality, and an assurance of exceptional care.

Humane Society of Chittenden County’s Rainy Day Fund – Offers financial assistance for Chittenden and Grand Isle County residents who are unable to pay for their pet’s unanticipated emergency medical treatment. This service is completely donor-funded and truly makes a difference in the lives of people & their pets.

AIDS Project of Southern Vermont – Regional AIDS service organization providing direct services to people living with HIV/AIDS, and HIV prevention services to those at most risk in Windham, Bennington, and southern Windsor counties.

Women’s Freedom Center – The Women’s Freedom Center is the local organization working to end domestic and sexual violence serving both Windham and Southern Windsor Counties in Vermont. The WFC works with people of all gender identities.
