Sept 23 from 1pm-3pm join WRJ in their annual Pride Fest!
That same night, September 23rd, at 7:30 pm at the MSM, What Doth Life is bringing 3 Bands (Trevor Robinson, Wicked Louder & The New Erotics) to the MSM. It’s a door split for the bands & WRJ PRIDE 2024 to help us get a head start on next year! I hope some folks can join us! Please spread the word. $10 at the door or best offer (OBO)

The NIGHT BEFORE! We have the WRJ 1st Annual Mrs. Roper Romp and that is a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood.

WRJ 1st Annual Mrs. Roper Romp!
Starts at The Regal Beagle (aka Main Street MUSEUM)
Yes, you read that right!
We are dressing like Mrs. Roper from Three’s Company and hitting the streets to show WRJ some love!
Eat, Drink, BE HELEN!
It’s a simple costume…a muumuu or kaftan, a red or brown fuzzy wig if you have one, some gaudy jewelry…if you don’t have any I’m sure our local thrift stores do!
Why? because we love the spirit of Helen. She had the best lines! And who doesn’t want a reason to wear a kaftan out on the town!
6pm – We start at the Regal Beagle (aka Main Street MUSEUM) for some theme music, pregaming, a soul train dance alley to show off your outer Helen!
Enter a contest (for a donation to Planned Parenthood) and win some PRIZES for the person who best embodies the “Spirit of Helen!”. Winner also gets an AWESOME sash to wear around town and is crowned “2023 WRJ BEST MRS. ROPER”
Pose for a ‘before photo!” in front of the Regal Beagle!
7pm – We HIT THE STREETS! Visit any open store, bar, restaurant! Say Hi to Brandon at Big Fatties, or Vural at Tuckerbox! Drop into the Filling Station or Wolf Tree! Spend some money and show WRJ Some Love and tip your waitstaff generously!
(Make some folks smile along the way-I mean, how often do folks see a Gaggle of Helens???)
8pm – We converge on Putnam’s Vine/yard (188 South Main) for a Helen Meet Up!
