Trans Joy & Trans Rage

Pride Center is excited to host our first trans social event for 2026. All trans, intersex, nonbinary, two spirit, and gender-questioning community members are welcome to join us for free axe throwing and pizza, Thursday, April 23, 6-8pm at Burly Axe in the Old North End of Burlington!

Unleash your trans rage by learning to throw axes in trans-affirming environment! Soak in some trans joy by strengthening connections and making new friends.

@BurlyAxe is excited to provide a gender affirming space for our trans community, with wheelchair accessibility and gender-inclusive restrooms. Burly Axe is proud to be part of the International Axe Throwing Federation, which is the governing body for the sport. The IATF does not use gender in their competitions. While axe throwing might sound like a masculine-coded activity, we’re told it’s incredibly supportive and affirming of all genders and expressions!
