An event every week that begins at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, repeating indefinitely
This class is designed as a space for members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community and allies to gather and move together in the spirit of queer liberation. Expect to link breath with movement in this gentle class. Beginning with an extended guided meditation, we will allow ourselves the time and space to arrive on our mats slowly knowing that we may all be coming together from various experiences during the day. From there, we will build into some Asana and movement for around 15-20 minutes and finally winding down with an extended Savasana. The goal behind this gentle movement and meditation is to allow ourselves to acknowledge and include rest as part of our collective liberation and social justice practice. This 30-40 minute guided meditation and movement will then lead into a space for discussion and community centered around each week’s theme.
Everyone is welcome in this class which will take place at Sangha’s Pine Street Studio, with a virtual option for those who prefer to attend online. Click here to register!
