People’s Pride 2023: The Resistance

We gather our creative and liberatory for the third time as People’s Pride of Burlington to:
Celebrate our profound existence here on Earth!
We celebrate ourselves, rebelling against the forces that are terrified of us!
We are terrifying! Awe-inspiring! Amazing! A force to be reckoned with!

Join us in our rejoicing!

On June 24th, 2023, we will gather again in guerilla protest of a capitalistic pride that collaborates with law enforcement and profits off our collective struggle for liberation.
In opposition to those who attempt to dehumanize and silence us, we loudly announce that we are here, as we have always been and will always be.
We Resist! Shout! Dance! Rejoice! Love! Sing! March! And come together as a community for a day created for and by us, in joyous declaration of the undeniable fact that our lives are inherently worthy of celebration.

Want to get involved? We are accepting volunteers to help us make this year’s People’s Pride as accessible and smooth and wonderful as possible.
We are also looking for LGBTQIA+ visual artists, musicians, drag performers, and more!
