Montpelier Pride Fest and Parade

Come OUT and celebrate Montpelier Pride Fest on the Statehouse Lawn from 4-7pm with music with a local DJ, dance performances featuring Rivers Way Movement Studio, community organizations, resources and more!

The Fest will end with a 6:45pm gathering to Parade along the sidewalk down Court St, across School St, down Main Street and turning onto State St to end back at the Statehouse Lawn.  Bring your rainbow lights and fantastic looks!  Let’s make the streets glow n shimmer!

Wed May 29 Drag Show at Charlie O’s Bar 8pm (tip your performers!)

Thurs May 30 Queer Musicians Showcase at Three Penny Taproom 7:30-9:30pm

Fri May 31 Statehouse Lawn Fest and Parade 4-7pm followed by 8pm Rivers Way Movement Studio show ($10-30)

Sat June 1 Queer Critical Mass Bike Ride, meet at Kellogg-Hubbard Library 11am then Fox Market Dance Party 8pm

Sun June 2 Queer Film Fest at Savoy Theater all day. Films will include : “Ma Vie En Rose”, “But I’m a Cheerleader” + dress up party, “Little Richard: I Am Everything” (sponsored by Salon Black Walnut) ($12.50-15 each film)

Tues June 4 Pride Cannabis Panel at Capital Cannabis 6-7pm

Wed June 5 Tillie Walden at Kellogg-Hubbard Library  6pm

Thurs June 6 “Before Stonewall” at Savoy Theater 6:30pm sponsored by Barre Pride with short discussion ($12.50-15)

Fri June 7 Queer Erotic Poetry at Fox Market 7-9pm

Sat June 8 Barre Pride Fest in City Hall Park 11-4pm

Sun June 9 Political Teach-In and Networking event 12-4pm at Old Labor Hall Barre

Tues June 18 “Every Body” at Savoy Theater at 6:30pm with short discussion ($12.50-15)
