LGBTQ+ Outdoor Rock Climbing Day

June 13 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Please join Andrea and Alicia for a day of Outdoor Climbing in Bolton!
No experience is necessary, and all technical gear (harness, climbing shoes, helmet) is included for the day of climbing. The beautiful thing about climbing is that beginners can climb alongside those with experience, and the level of challenge can be adjusted individually. The day will begin with a discussion about safety, gear, and basic technique, then we will get into climbing and rappelling, always operating with the “Challenge by Choice” mentality.
Upon booking, your guide will be in touch with recommended things to bring for the day, the meeting location, and other specifics. Please feel free to reach out to Andrea with any questions.
Andrea Charest is an AMGA Certified Single Pitch Instructor, Assistant Rock Guide and Apprentice Alpine Guide, and the daughter of a trans parent. Alicia Racine is a “young at heart 52 year old transgender woman who enjoys living life to its fullest,” a community advocate managing the Burlington VT area LGBTQ2+ Rock Climbers Facebook Group, and she has taken her AMGA Single Pitch Instructor course. Together, they seek to provide a fun and supportive environment while sharing their passion for rock climbing!
