The holidays are a difficult time for everyone, especially those that are managing addiction. Maintaining one’s well-being while balancing the weight of expectations to buy gifts and anxiety when seeing family can be a trigger for individuals to turn to substance misuse.

Join the Pride Center of Vermont and Howard Center’s Safe Recovery for a free webinar on substance education, substance use, the health of people who inject drugs, addiction as a disease, and how to reduce stigma along with treatment and care. Grace Keller and Sydney Lieb of Safe Recovery will also provide a Narcan training in order to teach individuals about what happens during an overdose, how to properly administer the treatment, and best practices for providing aftercare.
