3rd Annual Sangha Community Pride

This year, we are hosting a morning of yoga in Battery Park from queer-led teachers for our queer community and allies. At the core of yogic teachings is liberation – and at Sangha, we are not free until we are all free. Let’s move our bodies, connect in community, practice collective care, and together, create a space for queer folks to be celebrated, uplifted and held.

Let’s kick-off our outdoor summer classes with PRIDE!

We’re taking over the stage at Battery Park for the morning with two queer-led yoga classes. In between classes, let’s have brunch together in the park! What’s more gay than brunch?! Between classes, we will also have glitter face painting, tarot readings, music, and of course snacks on snacks on snacks and ALL THE COFFEE.

This year, we are proud to support the inaugural Essex Pride. All proceeds from both classes will go directly to the organizers. The folks at Essex Pride have worked hard to bring the very first Pride event to the community of Essex. Join us in the morning for yoga and mindful fun, and then let’s all pile into our cars and head over to Essex Pride at Maple Street Park from 1-5pm!
