What is GLAM?

GLAM is the Pride Center’s leading social program for gay, bi, and trans folks across the state of Vermont. We know that getting connected to other guys in the area is a challenge, and we’re here to help. GLAM hosts a weekly core group every Wednesday at 6:30 pm at our South Champlain Street location, and we put on free events around the state for guys who like guys, and their friends.

GLAM is part of the nationwide MPowerment Project, which is a model HIV prevention program that has been specifically designed to address the needs of young gay and bisexual men. The Mpowerment Project is the first documented HIV prevention intervention for young gay/bisexual men to succeed in reducing sexual risk behavior. The program has been carefully developed, evaluated, and continually refined over the course of twelve years by prominent behavioral scientists from the University of California, San Francisco’s Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS), a leading-edge HIV/AIDS research institution.

Join us, meet guys, make connections, and have fun!
